The PERI RTWL HD is a stabilised, digital high-performance periscope designed for use in battle tanks and infantry fighting vehicles. It provides maximum detection ranges in all lighting conditions along with outstanding stabilisation quality.
Developed specifically for use in modern combat vehicles such as the Leopard 2A8, the PUMA infantry fighting vehicle and the Boxer RCT30 (“Jackal”), the PERI RTWL HD is a high-end, digital, cross-platform vision system.
The combination of proven optics and high-resolution, latest-generation sensors provides the crew with maximum situational awareness and precision, even in the most challenging conditions.
Its unique vision concept combines fully digital optronics with an integrated optical direct-view channel.
This provides the classic optical direct view as well as flexible image display via monitors, making it the perfect solution, especially for unmanned turrets.
Its future-proof digital architecture features state-of-the-art video interfaces and advanced video processing capabilities that permit seamless integration with software-defined defence systems.
