Sustainability governance
The Board of Directors is committed to fostering sustainable value creation for our shareholders and stakeholders over the short, medium and long term.
Key environmental, social, and governance issues are regularly included in the Board's agenda, with discussions occurring at least once a year.
To assist the Board in establishing strategic sustainability guidelines and monitoring the achievement of sustainability goals, the internal committees, especially the Global Sustainability Team plays a vital role
Global sustainability
The Global Sustainability Officer, reporting directly to the CFO, is responsible for defining the Group's sustainability strategy and the integration of sustainability issues inside the company and along its entire value chain.
This implies multiple projects and plans, ranging from our broad Sustainability strategy to more specific ones, such as our CO2 emission reduction plan, which all in all aim to set our company up for a successful and sustainable future.
The corresponding targets and goals being set within these strategies also serve to guide the companies’ and our teams’ activities.
Our sustainability strategy
Our sustainability strategy at HENSOLDT is based on three essential dimensions: Environmental responsibility ("E”), Social responsibility ("S"), and Governance responsibility ("G"). These three dimensions are concretized through five strategic pillars to ensure that we act comprehensively.
